Receiving funding from Leek Building Society: October 2024

Lynne Ransome wrote some lovely words regarding the fundraising that Leek Building Society did for Paddles as their chosen charity to support.

”Just wanted to share this incredible experience I had watching Paddles, one of Leek Building Society Cheadle branch’s chosen charities. In action, Paddles, with the help of its dedicated volunteers, delivers swim sessions that are so highly valued. They draw participants not only from our local area, but also from as far as Macclesfield and Cannock. 

Spending time with the members during the session made it clear just how much these swims mean to them and create such a positive impact. The volunteers truly make what seem impossible, possible, giving participants the freedom to move in ways that can’t on land. 

Seeing the impact of our Cheadle branch’s fundraising efforts first- hand was a touching reminder of why we support Paddles and how valuable their work is. A huge thank you to everyone across Cheadle who’s helped with our fundraising initiatives- it really makes a difference!”
